Tara Waering is a dynamic and versatile performer whose career span encompasses the stage, screen, and recording studio. Known for her striking physical presence and comedic-timing, Tara brings an authentic and grounded energy to every medium she touches. Whether she’s expressing her art through musical theatre or carrying a scene on camera, she strives to tell stories that feel honest and deeply relatable to the audience. 

 

In the theatrical world, Tara has appeared in comedic roles such as Gertie in Oklahoma! and Mrs. Wormwood in Matilda the Musical. Her screen work is equally diverse, featuring appearances in national commercials, the television series Nashville, and country music videos such as Tim MGraw’s Neon Church and Lainey Wilson’s Watermelon Moonshine. Tara’s artistic foundation is accompanied by a rigorous physical discipline; she is highly proficient in Krav Maga and Ju Jitsu, bringing a unique level of precision and resiliency to her art. 

 

Parallel to her acting career, Tara is a dedicated singer-songwriter and a skilled Yoga teacher. Her original music is story driven and piano forward while blending clever, raw lyrics with sophisticated melodic hooks. When she isn’t on set or writing music, she can be found teaching Yoga classes both in Nashville and around the world.
